Our clients and their cases
The Criminal Justice Act codifies the right to counsel for all individuals who are charged with a federal offense and unable to afford counsel. The Act created Federal Public Defender offices to provide the same quality of representation enjoyed by similarly charged individuals who can afford counsel. Ethical rules prohibit all attorneys, whether appointed or privately retained, from disclosing any information relating to a representation. Colo. RPC 1.6 (2021). Because this office strictly abides by these rules, it does not comment on its cases.
